Muutaman vuoden takaisien päivitysten jälkeen ei ole tullut pahemmin käytyä tällä areenalla. Minusta tämä kanava huononi huomattavasti.

  1. Veimme Vappuna pojan muuttokuorman etelään ja ajoimme vaimon kanssa peräkkäin mittarin näyttäessä 80km/h. Emme huomanneet, että nopeusrajoitus muuttui 60km/h. ”Peltipoliisi” välähti molemmille. Ajoimme täsmälleen samaa vauhtia mutta ajamalleni pakettiauto+peräkärry yhdistelmälle pönttö mittasi 84-3=81km/h ja vaimolle 80-3=77km/h. Olen huomannut, että joskus nopeusnäytöt näyttävät aivan jotain ihmeellistä kun autossa on peräkärry.

    Erään autolehden toimittaja vastasi esittämääni kysymykseeni seuraavasti:

    "Olemme itsekin törmänneet aivan samaan ilmiöön Tiehallinnon mittauspisteessä Käyttötestissä tällä hetkellä olevan piskuisen Smart Fortwon kanssa. Sakkoja ei nopeuskameroista ole kuitenkaan tupsahdellut. Tiedustelin asiaa Tiehallinnosta jo talvella, mutta vastakaiku jäi vaimeaksi."

    Puolikymmentä kertaa olen ajanut peräkärryn kanssa edestakaisin ja nopeusnäyttö on näyttänyt kutakuinkin oikein. 14.7.2008 kun tulimme kotiin peräkärryn kanssa ja vauhtimme oli mittarin mukaan 95km/h (todellinen nopeus 90km/h) näytti nopeusnäyttö taas omiaan 103km/h. Eli peräkärryn kanssa se valehtelee mutta ei joka kerta. Ilman peräkärryä en tällaisia heittoja ole havainnut.
  2. No pitkän harkinnan ja myyjän suositusten jälkeen päädyimme We-no-nah Northfork 169 inkkarikanoottiin. Poika toi kanotin viikonloppuna ja kävimme parina päivänä melomassa Kiiminkijoki-suistossa. Olihan jämäkkä ja huilakka peli! Molempina päivinä oli navakka tuuli, mutta kanootti lipui kevyesti ja vakaasti niin vastavirtaan ja tuuleen kuin myötäiseenkin. Penkit olivat tukevat remmipenkit ja ne olivat sopivan alhaalla hyvin kiinnitettyinä joten painopiste olin sen verran alhaalla, ettei kanootti ollut kiikkerä. Puiset melat olivat todella käteen sopivat joilla melonta oli nautinnollista. Täytyy sanoa, että olemme tyytyväisiä hankintaamme.

Ovatkohan muut "kerholaiset" jääneet jo eläkkeelle? Olenhan minäkin yrittänyt joskus mielipiteitäni tuoda julki vaihtelevalla tuloksella. Mielipiteeni Tiina Lymistä sai aivan käsittämättömän suosion muihin juttuihini verrattuna. Olisiko itse Tiina käynyt näpyttelemässä kävijämäärän noin suureksi. Kiitos muistamisesta ;)

Vaikka tuntee itsensä täysin ulkopuoliseksi ja ypöyksinäiseksi tuollainen peruuttamaton teko ei ole vaikuttamatta ympäristösi ihmisiin niin läheisiin kuin täysin vieraisiinkin. Jos tekosi olisi onnistunut, mitä he olisivat miettineet miksi, miksi ja syytelleet itseään saamatta koskaan vastausta peruuttamattomaan tekoosi. Onneksi et onnistunut sillä sitä ei koskaan tiedä mitä tai mikä siellä nurkan takana odottaa.   12. vaan jatka samaan malliin. Meitä on joka lähtöön ja osa jää asemallekin. Juttusi ovat aivan asiallisia eivätkä turhaa jauhantaa. Nahka vaan paksummaksi ja ikävät sekä asiattomat kommentit voi antaa mennä ja jättää omaan arvoonsa.
  13. Todella hyvä elokuva josta minäkin olen pitänyt. IMDb:ssä hyvät pisteet 7,7.

    Itse katsoin vihdoin ja viimein jonkin aikaa sitten hankkimani Jawsin. Erinomainen elokuva sekin joka käsittelee rahan ja turvallisuuden ristiriitaa. Näyttelijä suoritukset erinomaisia, eritoten Robert Shawn näyttelemä vanha jermu Quint oli todella fantastinen, en muistanut sitä niin hyväksi. Ei ole vanhentunut lainkaan kolmenkymmenen vuoden aikana. Ainoa miinus oli lopun kohtauksissa pääosan esittäjä hain hieman heikko pintamateriaali joka ei näyttänyt vakuuttavalta. IMDb:ssä pisteitä 8,2 ja sijoitus top 250:ssä 82.

    Schindlerin lista on myös aivan kelvollinen elokuva. IMDb:ssä pisteitä 8,8 ja sijoitus top 250:ssä huima 6. Hieman pilviä elokuvan päälle on tullut jutuista, ettei herra Schindler niin puhtoinen ollutkaan kuin hänen muistelmansa ja elokuva antaa ymmärtää. Ollut ilmeisesti natsien palveluksessa eikä ole tehnyt niitä urotekoja joista tarinat kertovat. Mikä sitten on totuus mutta elokuva on kuitenkin kertomus eräästä pimeästä jaksosta ihmiskunnan historiassa joka ei saisi toistua mutta se toistuu koko ajan ympäri maailman.

  16. Tarkovskin Stalker on syöpynyt mieleeni niin syvälle yli hilseen menevänä haahuiluna, että tuli kirjoitettua se vaikka tarkoitin Solarista!

  17. Majakkaa ja Perävaunua tuli katsottua TV:stä ja silloin poikasena ne tuntuivat huiman hauskoilta. Eipä ole pitkään aikaan näkynyt enkä ole nähnyt DVD julkaisuinakaan. Eikä Ohukaista ja Paksukaistakaan ole pahemmin näkynyt.
  18. Jokainen analogia digitaali analogia muutos heikentää laatua.

    DV:ssä suoraan sellaisena tietokoneelle josta sitten takaisin DV:lle tai DVD:lle joista voi sitten kopioida vaikka VHS:lle.

    Tuossa muutama mieleen tullut joiden pitäisi täyttää määritelmäsi kunnon toiminta- ja scifielokuvien maailmasta ;) Vai mitä?
  20. Vaimo on aivan hulluna kyseiseen sarjaan. Lomalla aloitimme katsomisen ja loman jälkeen nauhoitimme jokaisen osan ja katsoimme sitten illalla. Aivan kelvollinen, lämmin ja elämänmyönteinen sarja jossa ei ammuta eikä riehuta.

    Vaimo jäi sairaslomalle ja nyt ei ole tullut katsottua kuin muutama jakso kun en ole nauhoittanut muuloinkuin vaimon vaatimuksesta. Kun sarja muuttui sodanjälkeiseen aikaan ja Helen vaihtui ja kodinhoitaja vaihtui oli vaimo hieman nyreissään.

    Siegfried on myös vaimon suosikki, mies jolla sydän paikallaan kun tarve vaatii. Ovat nämä Farnonin veljekset melkoisia naisten liehittelijöitä. Aluksi James oli aivan hyvä mutta ehkä liian kiltti ja väritön. Alkuperäinen Helen oli aivan hurmaavan suloinen, tämä uusi ei vedä vertoja alkuunkaan.

    Mahtavia näyttelijäsuorituksia kaikilta osin. Se vähän hirvitää kun nämä näyttelijät työntävät kätensä kyynärpäätä myöten lehmän värkkiin ja vetävät vasikoita ulos. Melko autentista toimintaa, saavatkohan he likaisentyönlisää?
