Olen jo pitkään harkinnut kirjoittavani Novellin, pitkänkin sellaisen, mutta suomeksi kirjoittaminen on niin hankalaa minulle että olen päättänyt kijoittaa sen englanniksi. Toivon, että joku teistä tämän aloitukseni lukee, osa ensimmäistä lukua. Haluaisin tietää kannattaako minun kirjoittaa enempää ko. tarinaa?

The horrifying end of life
Chapter 1
He shouted, "COME IN!", after listening to annoying sound of a bell in his office for 30 seconds.
He was very short-tempered person, and feared even in his office in the downtown, thought his employees didn't even know who he really was.
"This successful hunt from last night still disgusts me!", shouted another person back at him after entering his office.
"Could you at least shut the door before telling me this? Someone who shouldn't hear could if the door is open...", the first person to talk argued back and continued, "Do you really think I do care even a dog shit how you feel?".
"Now... This is it... I'm going to police now, and confess all of our stuff from the past months...", he person seemed to get very nervous about this situation, like he would of feared the other person.
The first man, called Gonzales Ravez, put his hand down, like trying to grope something from drawer of his desk. Then he said to other person, "It seems...", then he stood up, and started walking at his co-discussionist... "I do think... That this is it for you, you get kicked from the party now!".
At the same second, Gonzales touched neck of the other person, Manfred Ahl, with palm of his hand and Manfred fell down like stone. What seemed to be an ordinary touch, was nothing like it looked, it was cold blooded kill of a person... With three inch iron nail.

Unohdin sanoa, että kaikki tarinassa mahdollisesti mainitut paikat ja henkilöiden nimet yms. on ihan hatusta heitettyjä, eli eivät perustu keneenkään todelliseen henkilöön vaikka noilla nimillä mahdollisesti oikeita ihmisiäkin löytyy.

Luin tekstisi läpi ja löysin rutkasti kielivirheitä sekä kovin ei-englantilaisia ilmaisuja. Sanot, että kirjoittaminen suomeksi on sinulle hankalaa, mutta suomeksi kuitenkin kirjoitat virheetöntä kieltä. Ehkä tarkoitat, että ajatuksesi / mielikuvituksesi juoksee englanniksi paremmin? Siinä tapauksessa voisit ehkä ensin kirjoittaa tarinasi englanniksi ja sitten suomentaa sen. Mutta nämä ovat tietysti vain minun ehdotuksiani. Teet niin kuin itse parhaaksi katsot ;-).
Listaan tähän ne kielivirheet, jotka heti osuivat silmään:
"after listening to annoying sound of a bell" (pitäisi olla "to AN annoying sound")
"He was very short-tempered person" (pitäisi olla "was A very short-tempered")
"shouted another person" (väärä sanajärjestys; pitäisi olla: "another person shouted")
"like he would of feared the other person." (pitäisi olla "should HAVE feared", joka puhekielessä usein äännetään niin huolimattomasti tyyliin "shold 'v feared", että se äännettynä kuulostaa "of":lta)
"grope something from drawer" (pitäisi olla "from THE / A drawer")
"Then he said to other person" (pitäisi olla "said to THE other person")
"Gonzales touched neck" (pitäisi olla "touched THE neck")
"with palm of his hand" (pitäisi olla "with THE palm of his hand")
"it was cold blooded kill of a person" (pitäisi olla "it was A cold-blooded MURDER of a person")
